In a latest initiative by Google- you would now see country specific URLs. The users of Google’s blogger website would be explicitly redirect users to URLs which would be based on the location i.e. country. These URLs would be same as the IP address of the user who is accessing blogger website. The change will be introduced gradually. And, according to the biggie search engine Google –“continue promoting free expression and responsible publishing while providing greater flexibility in complying with valid removal requests pursuant to local law”. It is almost same as Twitter’s censorship on tweets. The search engine voiced its concern about need to remove aberrant content, worldwide, if this change would not have been implemented.

And, Why this latest Change?
This step imparts freedom to Google for censoring objectionable content in 1 country and not everywhere. And, this accounts for the introduction of the change.
Another Side of the Change
The firm is of the opinion that users would easily take precedence over redirect. And, it would be to ccTLD (country-code Top Level Domain). How? Users just need to key in “no country redirect” URL. You are not a part of this alteration if a custom non-Google URL, exists in your blog.
Now, to Conclude……………
URL redirect is deemed to be launched in just some of the countries. And, which are these countries? Names have been not spilled out as of now. It is again a situation of wait and watch until the redirect is completely out in the market.
