February 3rd, 2010The safest link building methods to meet Google Caffeine trends
While caffeine rolled out finally and many sites’ rankings had frequent ups and downs in past 3-4 months, it’s high time to have a look at your conventional SEO campaign and give it a smart change to meet caffeine’s mood.
We’ve worked out on some inquiries from clients who were using best SEO companies and very strong link building methods but still had their rankings dropped for many keywords. Reason? Could be the speed of building those one-way links, frequent use of only few link building methods, not tracking what method is giving you low quality links and which one gave high quality but at higher cost. So many reasons. We took up some inquiries and ran some tests. Fortunately, 95% of them were successful and got their rankings up!
So, I’d like to share my ideas briefly on what to use and how
1- Unique article marketing - Instead of using mass submission to hundreds of new and crap sites, work on unique and high quality content marketing on top 10 sites only. Give variations of one-way backlinks in resource box. Not more than 10 articles every month would be recommended if you’re recovering dropped rankings
2- Start high quality and authority forum posting - Do some quality posts and contribute to the forums appropriately so you look like a genuine and real user, not a spammer for gaining sig links. These forums would anyway gives lot of help to boost up your rankings, so why to spam them? Contribute with good posts so they get indexed, popular and your sig links too get value
3 - Guest posts - Highly recommended but only on reputed niche blogs. Please note that I’m not talking about general contextual links here.
4 - Niche blog rolls - It goes similar to guest posts but as text links from blogrolls of very high quality blogs with sound backlinks themselves
5 - Use authority portals like Hubpages, suite101 and squidoo - These are very helpful to give you a quick and reliable help when your rankings are dropped. It’s like getting a recommendation when you need one critically. Don’t forget that these sites keep a strict check on spam, low quality and gives great do-follow links to high quality jobs.
And while concluding, needless to say, the link building campaign should be very slow, managed, scheduled and done properly. There are many other quality link building methods like press release to high end sites like PRweb.com but these could be bit costly for many. I’d love to discuss your thoughts on the same. Feel free to comment here or drop a mail
Cheers!
